EARTH DAY CELEBRATION
Earth Day was celebrated in the school today to create awareness about climate changes and the urgent need to preserve our environment. The focus of the celebration was on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with special emphasis on SDG 2 : Zero Hunger, SDG 12 : Responsible Consumption and Production and SDG 13 : Climate Action. All the students and members of the staff took a pledge to be the Food Ambassadors and stop wastage of food. They also took a pledge to minimize single-use plastic. The message was very clear -- TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
EID CELEBRATION
The festival of Eid was celebrated in the Senior Wing of the school with a lot of excitement, enthusiasm and a spirit of togetherness. The celebration featured the enactment of students on one of the well known stories ‘Idgah’ written by the eminent Indian author, Munshi Premchand. Following the performance, students shared their takeaways from the story, emphasizing the importance of love, empathy and compassion in life.

EARTH DAY...EVERY DAY
Earth Day was celebrated at Wisdom with a lot of zeal and zest. On this special occasion, we sensitized our students towards the urgent need to work for a greener tomorrow. An in-house Puppetry production - 'The Moppet Show' - was organised in the Junior Wing to educate students about the importance of making environment friendly choices. Students were encouraged to become ambassadors of Green Planet.A special Earth Day Assembly was organized in the Senior Wing in which students got an opportunity to interact with Dr. Subhash Chander Garg, a renowned doctor and environmentist. Dr. Garg is associated with an NGO for ‘Mission Zero Waste’ to beautify Kurukshetra and to sensitise people about waste management. It was an interactive session in which he practically explained simple ways to recycle and reuse the waste at home.The celebration was followed by pledge taking ceremony in both the wings. Students of Grade 6 to 12 also signed 'Earth Day....Every Day' pledge promising the Mother Earth that they will conserve the resources and will keep the environment clean and pollution free. The assembly was concluded with an address by students on the occasion of ‘Eid-Ul-Fitr’ explaining the importance of this festival.
Buddha Purnima Celebrations
The auspicious occasion of BUDDHA PURNIMA was celebrated in both the Wings of the school in a very somber and serene environment. The sublime teachings of Lord Buddha were highlighted and explained to the students. The chanting of Buddham Sharnam Gacchami by all the members of the staff as well as the students cast a mesmerizing spell in the whole atmosphere.
77th INDEPENDENCE DAY
The grand occasion of India's 77th Independence Day was celebrated in both the Junior and the Senior Wings of the school with immense zeal, enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The festivities began with mass singing followed by a captivating dance drama highlighting the arduous and long-drawn struggle for freedom. 56 students in the Junior Wing and 160 students in the Senior Wing showcased their talent in this vibrant cultural program. The event concluded with National Anthem and salute to the National flag leaving an indelible impact on the audience.
TEEJ CELEBRATIONS
The festival of Teej was celebrated in both the Senior and the Junior wings of the school with a mesmerizing cultural performance. As per our annual practice this year also the show was totally dedicated to our beloved didis who participated with exemplary "umang" and presented a foot-tapping music and dance show. Decorated in their colourful, tradition attires, the didi's stole the show. The audience reciprocated with unstoppable applause and cheers.
TEACHERS' DAY & JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATIONS
The twin occasions of Teachers' Day, the birthday of the great teacher Dr Radhakrishnan and the divine appearance of the eternal teacher, Lord Krishna was jointly celebrated with great enthusiasm separately in Senior and Junior Wings.
DUSSEHRA CELEBRATIONS and CURTAIN-RAISER of UTSAV-2023
The festival of Dussehra was celebrated in both the Junior and the Senior Wings of the school with huge enthusiasm. While a traditional "Dangal" was the highlight in the Senior Wing, a Moppet Show depicting "Ramayana" was the main attraction in the Junior Wing. The occasion was also marked by a dance sequence by some 'bhaiyas' in the Senior Wing to launch UTSAV-2023, our Annual Festival of Competitions, going to be held for three days from 24th to 26th November.
DIWALI CELEBRATIONS
The auspicious festival of Diwali was celebrated with devotional and enthusiastic spirit, with both the wings decorated in vibrant colours, and everyone dressed in festive attire. The celebrations began with Hawan in the Senior Wing and Ganpati Arti in the Junior Wing, featuring mass singing of Ram Stuti in both the wings. The celebrations were also marked with an energetic group dance by our children. Wisdom wishes all the students and their parents a very blessed and Green Diwali!
REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATIONS
75th Republic Day of India was celebrated in the school with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. Our students also performed in the district level celebrations in the Police Lines ground.
THIRD BELL COMPETITIONS
A series of Inter-class academic, literary, creative arts, and skill-based competitions - “THIRD BELL” - finally concluded today with felicitation of the winners in the morning assembly. The event was organized in the Senior Wing of the school in two phases - the first phase on 25th & 26th May and the second phase on 22nd July - for the students of Grades 6 to 12. The event featured thought-provoking speeches, captivating group presentations, prompt story writing, fine artistic skills, and innovative ideas of students, which left a lasting impact on everyone. All the competitions were meticulously organized and keenly contested. Wisdom extends heartiest congratulations to all the participants.
NEENV CELEBRATIONS
Yet another edition of our highly exciting, entertaining and enriching feature, NEENV, was celebrated in the Junior Wing from 2nd to 4th August. This event serves as a platform to discover, hone and fine tune young talent. All the students, from Grade 1 to 5 participated in their chosen category. A total of 30 literary, cultural and fine art competitions took place during the event and as many as 183 students were felicitated for outstanding performance. Wisdom extends its heartfelt congratulations to all the participants for exhibiting their inherent talent.
CULTURAL-cum-ACADEMIC EXCHANGE PROGRAM WITH GERMAN SCHOOL
Ms. Anna Wagner, a German Language and Ethics educator from Dresden, Germany is on a 10-days' visit to our school these days under a Cultural-cum-Academic Exchange Program. She is interacting with our German language students and providing valuable insights into German culture. She is actively coordinating with our German language educators in the classes to make our teaching pedagogy more effective. Earlier, our German language educator, Mr Sanjeev Kumar, had also visited their school in Germany last month. This will be followed by students level exchange program between the two schools in near future.
CULTURAL-cum-ACADEMIC EXCHANGE PROGRAM WITH GERMAN SCHOOL
Goethe-Institut/Max Mueller Bhawan, New Delhi awards our German language educator, Mr Sanjeev Kumar, an all paid Scholarship to attend a 23-Days German Language Refresher Course in Germany. This is a huge opportunity for him to upgrade and update his language skills by learning new teaching methodologies and get a valuable exposure of contemporary German culture and traditions. Academic-cum-Cultural Exchange Program with The Japan Foundation, New Delhi
Ms. Chiaki Suzuki, Japanese Language Advisor from The Japan Foundation, New Delhi visited our school yesterday under Academic-cum-Cultural Exchange Program. She engaged with our Japanese language students and shared her valuable insights into Japanese culture. She also collaborated with our Japanese language educators and gave them valuable suggestions to enhance their teaching pedagogy.
SCIENCE MAHASABHA - Learning by Doing
Science Mahasabha - A Special Academic Assembly Session - was organised in the Junior Wing for the students of Grade 5 to provide them with a platform to showcase their creativity, demonstrate scientific ideas, discuss innovations and understand various scientific concepts. Seven teams of the class performed different experiments on the topic "Properties of Air." The students sitting as audience also participated enthusiastically in a Quiz at the end of the session.
WISDOM STUDENTS ATTEND JAPANESE MINI CAMP 2023
A group of ten Japanese learning students alongwith two Japanese educators from our school participated in a Japanese Mini Camp conducted by Japan Foundation, New Delhi in collaboration with Japanese Language School Teacher’s Association (JALSTA) in Amity International School, Ghaziabad on 16 December. It was an activity based camp, where as many as seven lively activities were organised in which students were exposed to various Japanese cultural traits. It was a very fruitful learning experience for the students.
INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO SHAHABAD SUGAR MILL
Recently, the school organised an Industrial Visit for some students of Grade 11 studying Commerce. A group of 32 students alongwith educators visited Shahabad Cooperative Sugar Mill Ltd. and gained valuable first-hand experience into the entire sugar manufacturing process...from sugarcane collection to the final stage of sugar crystals packaging. It was a rewarding and learning experience for the students.
UTSAV 2023
The 3-days' Annual Festival of Senior Wing of our school was celebrated from 24th to 26th November. The whole school wore a festive look. The event comprised of 11 different venues where, apart from the workshops and online events held before the start of main events, as many as 59 competitions involving students and parents were organised during the three days. The colourful decor of the whole school was a treat to watch. Here are a few glimpses of the decked up school campus. The Inaugural Ceremony of the three days' UTSAV festival was held on 24th November. Mr Yasuyuki Nakayama, First Secretary, Embassy of Japan in India and Bhutan and Incharge - Students' Exchange Programs as well as Japanese Language Promotion, was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Ms Mohita Miglani, Project Manager, German Language Education Services, Guethe-Institut Max Muller Bhawan, New Delhi was the Guest of Honour. The festival of UTSAV was used as a platform by the students to showcase the skills they have acquired throughout the year through various CLUBS. They exhibited their products, capabilities and skills in front of the parents and esteemed guests. विश्वनाद ….A soul-stirring and scintillating international dance drama for world peace conceptualized and directed by Dr Samira Koser and performed by artistes from Pracheen Kala Kendra marked the highlight of the 2nd day of UTSAV.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY OF WISDOM STUDENT COUNCIL 2023-24
The Investiture Ceremony of Wisdom Student Council for the academic session 2023-24 was oraganized today in a special assembly of the school. The ceremony was held with great pomp, zeal and enthusiasm. The council constitutes a total of 85 office bearers: 42 class representatives, 11 portfolio heads along with 22 associates and 10 teacher conveners, who are selected through a very rigorous 3-tier selection process. The members were adorned with new I-Cards and were formally conferred with their responsibilities. They all stood tall, beaming with pride as they pledged to uphold the school's values, and be the torch bearers of progress. The Principal and the members of the management extended their best wishes to all the newly appointed members of the council.

Wisdom World School in collaboration with the highly reputed Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh proudly launched Wisdom Academy of Performing Arts with a scintillating and mesmerizing presentation of various classical and visual art forms. The participation is open to Wisdom students as well as their parents. The launching ceremony took place in the august presence of Guru Maa Shobha Koser, the internationally renowned Kathak dancer and co-founder of Pracheen Kala Kendra as well as Dr Sameera Koser, another illustrious exponent of Kathak and the organisational head of Wisdom Academy of Performing Arts.

The festival of Baisakhi was celebrated separately in both the Junior and the Senior Wings of the school with great enthusiasm and cheerfulness. Since this festival has multi-cultural dimensions --- the harvesting festival of North, Navo Varsho in West Bengal, Pongal in the South and Bohag Bihu in the Eastern India --- our students also presented a heady mix of these different cultures by performing folk dances of these parts of India. A group song ‘Baisakhi Wala Mela’ also enthralled the audience. Wisdom wishes a HAPPY BAISAKHI to all its students, their parents and all the members of Wisdom Family…!!!
EARTH DAY CELEBRATIONS
Wisdom World School launched a unique Awareness Campaign on the Earth Day. Students prepared and presented an Awareness Exhibition to sensitise the students about the 'ailing planet'. Working on the theme - Make Every Day 'Earth Day' - this exhibition and events will continue for one week. In both the wings, students have decorated their classrooms, corridors with excellent art work and thought-provoking slogans. In the Junior Wing, Sustainable Development Goals were introduced with the SDG 13 (Climate Action) as the Goal of the Month for students. Students participated in the Drawing and Painting activity and committed themselves towards saving Earth. The creatively and strategically designed 'Wisdom Earth Day Awareness Exhibition' was opened with students explaining each and every segment to their peers. Right from SDGs, Air Pollution, Water Pollution, Deforestation and Role of AI in Climate Action have been presented. Grade VI and VII visited the exhibition and all other classes will also visit - commit themselves to the 'Earth Day' Campaign in the coming days.

INAUGURATION OF AMPHITHEATRE - ZENJIN - AND DIWALI CELEBRATIONS
A recently constructed open air theatre, ZENJIN, with a seating capacity of approx. 700 was inaugurated in the senior wing campus of the school on the auspicious occasion of Diwali. It was inaugurated by the honorable Founder/Chairman, Meritech Group of companies, Japan and India as well as Chairman, Wisdom Social Welfare Trust and Wisdom educational institutions in India and Japan - Mr. Harish Sachdeva. A dance drama presenting glimpses of the epic Ramayana was presented by students. The unbelievably brilliant performance left the audience spell-bound. The whole school wore a festive look on the occasion. Many competitions like "Neenv" and "Third Bell" were also organized in the Junior and Senior Wings respectively.. As many as 946 students enthusiastically participated in various events like Diya decoration, Lantern making, Urli decoration, Toran making, and Rangoli making.
GURUPURAB CELEBRATIONS
The 553rd Prakash Utsav of Guru Nanak Dev Ji was celebrated in both the wings of the school. All the students, educators and support staff gathered to celebrate the auspicious occasion. Opportunities after learning Japanese
Ms. Yamamoto AI, Admissions Counselor from our higher education partner, Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, Japan visited our school today to conduct an interactive session on the topic "Opportunities after learning Japanese". More than 150 Japanese learning students of Grade 6 to 10 participated and had a fruitful discussion on Japanese life and culture with the speaker. Ms Deepti Singh, APU's India representative, accompanied Ms Yamamoto. She explained the benefits of studying in Japan and exhorted the students to aim for attractive career options available after learning Japanese.
"Seasons of Japan" -- An online workshop on Japanese Culture organised by Japan Foundation
A one-day online workshop on the topic "Seasons of Japan" was organised in our school for our Japanese learning students of Grade-7 by Japan Foundation, New Delhi. The workshop was conducted by two resource persons from Japan Foundation - Chiaki Suzuki and Muskan Praveen. It was an activity based workshop in which students were made aware of Japanese cultural traits through quizzes and origami sessions.

A one-day workshop on German Language and Culture was organised in our school by Goethe Institut/Max Mueller Bhawan, New Delhi. It was conducted for the German language students of Grade 6 to 8 by three eminent resource persons - Ms Vaishali Joshi, Ms Supreet Kaur and Ms Gareema Sharma. It was an engrossing and fun-filled learning experience for students as the workshop was conducted through a series of quizzes, art and craft activities and dance performances.

HAKUNA MATATA.... the last celebration of the session 2022-2023 was organised in the Junior Wing of the school on 25/2/2023. Guru Shobha Koser, National Sangeet Natak Academi Awardee and Co-founder of Pracheen Kala Kendra and Dr Sameera Koser, the renowned classical artiste graced the occasion as Chief Guests. The whole school wore a festive look. All the 1200 plus students of the Junior Wing enthusiastically participated in the full-day event.

A full day ADVENTURE CAMP was organised in the Senior Wing campus of the school for students of Grade 3 to 5 on 10th and 11th December 2022. The highly excited and energetic students enjoyed more than 20 adventure activities during the day.
LAUNCH OF ZENJIN CAMPAIGN -- CO-OPERATION
After the successful outcome of 'CO-OPERATION' campaign in the Junior Wing, Wisdom has launched this campaign in the Senior Wing also as part of our Zenjin educational philosophy. This campaign is yet another major initiative by the school towards developing our children into balanced, civilized and cultured human beings. The series of activities under this campaign are going to contribute towards the growth of moral values in our students. The main objective of this campaign is to make our students learn the value of helping one another in the school as well as in the family and friends. The campaign was launched with a lot of fanfare and all the students were very enthusiastic and motivated to make it a success.
LAUNCH OF YET ANOTHER ZENJIN CAMPAIGN - COOPERATION
After the successful outcome of ‘Namaste’ campaign, Wisdom has launched yet another campaign - COOPERATION - as part of our Zenjin educational philosophy. OThe festival of Basant Panchami was celebrated in the Senior Wing campus of the school with the installation (Pran Pratishtha) of a grand, graceful, and 'bhavy' white marble moorti of Maa Saraswati amid chanting of Ved Mantras and Hawan. The 'Anawaran' ceremony was performed by Smt. Asha Sachdeva, the revered mother of school Chairman, Mr. Harish Sachdeva, and Mr. Subhash Sudha, MLA. A short cultural programme comprising of Saraswati Vandana and devotional dance was organised as an invocation to the Goddess Saraswati praying LET THERE BE LIGHT...!!!
REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATIONS 2022
Republic Day is the occasion to mark the 'Power of the People' which has been made possible by the great book of law - The Constitution of India. When we read the first line of the constitution - WE THE PEOPLE OF INDIA - it assures us of being protected and gives us a sense of pride. As Indians, we can serve our nation, our motherland, and fellow citizens by adhering to the soul of the constitution. We celebrated this republic Day with the theme of 'Hum Bharat Ke Log' and organised various activities with the students. Starting with Patriotic Song by the school choir, we introduced the Wisdom Achievers of the National Children's Science Congress and organised an Awareness Quiz with three teams - Justice, Liberty, Equality - representing the students.

The 552nd Prakash Utsav of Guru Nanak Dev Ji was celebrated in both the wings of the school. All the students, educators and support staff gathered to celebrate the auspicious occasion. Childhood is all about 'learning and happiness'. Wisdom has always believed in these two attributes of life. Our vision is to bring the 'whole-person' development through disciplined academics and vibrant extra-curriculars. That is how Wisdomites showcase a distinctive acumen. This time, it is the turn of the Little Wonders of Wisdom. In the Parent - Educator Meet of Junior Wing, primary students amazed the parents with their extraordinary Skit performance. The students gave two performances of the play "Khanakti Rasoi" (खनकती रसोई) and brought the whole campus, filled with parents and students, to a delightful stand-still. The subtle and witty dialogues, comic timings, expressions and teamwork left the parents mesmerised.
Kindergarten Reading Challenge
Tiny hands holding the storybooks, coming to the stage, and taking the position in front of the mic with immense confidence, uttering each word with exceptional clarity and then taking the whole Parent - Educator Meet to a ride into Reading - - - This is the gift the Wisdom Kinder gave to their parents, educators and peers in the 'Kindergarten Reading Challenge'. The perfection, with which the reading was done, seems to have got printed on the minds of everyone present. This humble beginning is the launch of their Determination and Discipline in the great art of Reading.

All the students of the Senior Wing were engaged in making creative cloth bags from rags. In the Junior Wing a dance drama was performed by students to highlight the importance of trees. An Open House Quiz was also organised to create awareness about our environment.

The festival of Baisakhi was celebrated in both the Senior and the Junior Wings. This year, the celebration was even more special as our New Students who have joined this session put up an enthralling show in both the wings. The festivities were marked by music and dance performances. Those students who were the A1 Achievers and excelled with 100% attendance in 2018-19 were honoured on the occasion in the Junior wing, whereas the format of 'Clubs Wisdom' was announced for the new session in the Senior wing.
KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS CELEBRATE HAPPY FEAT
Happy Feat is a string of fun cultural, games and literary competitions for Kindergarten students. Various activities such as Cross the Tunnel, Chatter Box, Balloon Balancing, etc were conducted and joyfully performed and relished by the students. Just like ‘Neenv’, this was a No Competition event. Happy Feat was conducted on 22nd and 23rd May and has set the stage for the upcoming Happy Feat competitions!
JUNIOR WING STUDENTS CELEBRATE NEENV
Neenv is a series of cultural & literary competitions for the student of Grade I – V. Various kinds of competitions are conducted throughout the year under one umbrella – Neenv. As per tradition, this year also Neenv started with a No Competition month and gave the students a platform to showcase their talent. Truth And Dare – A Talent Hunt was conducted in which students participated and gave their best in the activity of their choice. The two day hunt conducted on 14th & 15th May was full of zeal and a witness of immense raw talent ready to ripe.
STUDENTS SHINE IN THIRD BELL - INTRA SCHOOL COMPETITIONS
Third Bell - a series of Intra-School Cultural & Literary competitions were held from 30th April to 2nd May 2019 in the Senior Wing. Competitions such as ‘One Man Standing’, ‘Lit & Wit’, ‘Do Jasoos … On the Move’ and ‘Guzzle the Puzzle’ were conducted. About 520 students participated in the competitions. Third Bell was introduced last year. It is a series of competitions in which students get an opportunity to think out of the box to whet their creative talent.
MUCH AWAITED PYJAMA PARTY FUN BONANZA
Our trademark annual feature ….. Pyjama Party ….. was organised for students of Grade I & II on 23rd November and for students of all the three Pre-Primary classes (PPI, II & III) on 24th November. The theme of this year’s Pyjama Party was ‘Fairy Land.’ It was a fun bonanza in every sense. Children enjoyed coming to school in the evening in colourful casual dresses and had a lot of fun together. A group of students from Senior Wing entertained and enthralled the young children with a dance drama ‘Cindrella ka Joota.’
GURUPURAB CELEBRATIONS
The auspicious occasion of 549th Birthday of Guru Nanak Dev Ji (Prakash Utsav) was celebrated separately in both Senior and Junior Wings. Children were told about the life and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Recitation of 'Shabads' by students followed by 'Ardas' marked the celebrations. Delicious 'Karaah Prasad' was distributed to all the students and the staff. The whole school wore a festive look and the whole atmosphere turned pious.
ETHNIC DAY & DIWALI CELEBRATIONS
5th November was a day of festivities in both Senior & Junior Wings. The day started with inauguration of the newly constructed Skating Rink-cum-Basket Ball courts. All the students and teachers of the Senior Wing assembled in the arena and a 21 – Kundliya Hawan was performed to mark its inauguration. It was followed by Bhajan Kirtan performed by our students. Since it was Ethnic Day as well, all the students, teachers and the support staff were wearing traditional Indian dresses. Ethnic Day-cum-Diwali was celebrated in the Junior Wing also with great zeal and enthusiasm. It started with Bhajan Kirtan followed by Story-Telling of Ramayana episodes depicted by the students of Grade III through dance performance. The whole atmosphere was reverberating with religious fervour.
JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATIONS
The auspicious occasion of Janmashtami was celebrated in the school with huge enthusiasm. The whole school campus reverberated with the chanting of “Haathi, Ghoda, Palki ; Jai Kanahaiyya Lal Ki”. A dance drama depicting some episodes from the life of Lord Krishna was presented by the students of Grade IV supported by live singing by students of Grade III, IV & V. It was followed by the exciting and thrilling Dahi – Handi show by the male support staff of the school. And the clapping went on and on …
INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION....
Independence Day was celebrated in both the Senior and the Junior Wings with a lot of enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The shows started with all the students saluting the National Flag and singing of the hymn "Vaishnav jan." It was followed by a scintillating performance of gymnastics and hoola-hoops. The grand finale was marked by the star attraction -- Jashn-E-Azadi dance.
TEEJ CELEBRATIONS
Teej was celebrated in both the Senior and the Junior Wings today. Didis from the non-teaching staff performed and hosted the show in both the wings. The shows began with the signature Shankh Nadh and Gayatri Mantra followed by the sparkling combination of Teacher - Didi as hosts. The finale dance performance by didis had everyone applauding and cheering their efforts and charm on stage.
Earth Day Celebrations
Earth Day was celebrated in both the Senior and the Junior Wings today. The theme of the occasion today was ‘Celebrating Earth’. All the students of Grade VI to X organised a SILENT MARCH expressing their concern for the deteriorating environment. They made banners for the purpose. Later all the students assembled in the assembly ground. A group of six interacted with them and told them about the steps being taken by India to check the decay. Students were also informed about some important Do’s and Don’ts. In the Junior Wing children were shown a short animation film to inform why Earth Day is celebrated. They were made to learn songs on the theme of the day. Later Kindergarten children watered the plants. Primary children took up Foil-folding Activity. Students of Grade III to V dug up a pit and put eatable waste in the pit to make compost.
Baisakhi Celebrations
The festival of Baisakhi was celebrated in both the Senior and the Junior Wings today. Grade VII students performed in the Senior Wing whereas Grade V students enthalled the audience in the Junior Wing. The festivities were marked by live singing and dancing. Those students who excelled with 100% attendance in 2017-18 were honoured on the occasion.
THE EMBASSY OF SWITZERLAND IN INDIA CELEBRATES 70 YEARS OF SWISS - INDIAN FRIENDSHIP AT WISDOM
It was a proud occasion for Wisdom having been selected by the Swiss Embassy as the only school in Haryana as part of their celebrations to mark 70 years of Swiss-Indian Friendship (SIF 70). The Swiss Embassy is spreading a message of friendship, understanding and inclusiveness through a novel initiative – “Swiss Films on Wheels”. A special, well-equipped Swiss-Indian Friendship Bus is travelling through all over India to screen two of the most charming children’s films made in Switzerland – “Heidi” and “My Life as a Zucchini” – using films as a medium to cut across cultural borders and bring the two countries together. Having travelled in various states of West and South India in the first phase, the Swiss Films on Wheels started its journey to the North and North East India selecting Wisdom World School as the first and the only one venue in Haryana. The representative from the Swiss Embassy Ms. Nora addressed the students of Grade VI and VII in the school auditorium and apprised them about the mission of love and friendship between Switzerland and India. This was followed by the screening of the film “Heidi”. It was a two hours long film with English sub-titles. All the children were absolutely engrossed watching the movie and the delight was very much visible on their faces. The film screening was followed by a question-answer session and the children asked some very probing questions which were answered by Ms. Nora. Later, they had a photo session with Ms. Nora, her crew members and the cut-outs of film’s characters. The essence of Swiss-Indian friendship was very much visible all around.
OUR BUDDING SCIENTISTS RETURN FROM JAPAN
Yet another batch from our school comprising of 6 students and 1 teacher-supervisor has returned from Japan after attending a 7-days Sakura Science Project organised by Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST). The students visited Hiroshima, Tokyo and Yokohama. They were exposed to a number of scientific institutions like Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency where they got the opportunity to interact with space scientists. They also visited Chugoku Electric Co , Miraikan Museum and Robotics Show. Apart from this they went to Hiroshima High School as well as Hiroshima University where they saw students working in science laboratories and interacted with students and teachers. They also visited Hiroshima Peace Memorial. They came back with amazing experience and fond memories. It needs to be mentioned here that all the expenditure of this trip...airfare, boarding, lodging, transportation, meals, insurance, VISA, EVERYTHING....was borne by the Japanese government.

Republic Day was celebrated in both Senior & the Junior Wings of the school with remarkable patriotic fervour. A small cultural program was organized on the occasion in the Junior Wing. The students of the Senior Wing as well as faculty members contributed clothes and eatables which they distributed in the poor and the needy.

The 5th edition of our annual feature – Pyjama Party – was celebrated in the Junior Wing for students of Grade I & II on 22nd November and Kindergarten Section on 23rd November. The theme of this year’s party was ‘Arabian Nights.’ It was one event which all the students had been anxiously waiting for. A total of 611 students participated in the celebrations. The students enjoyed a number of joyrides and magic show. A group of 11 students from the Senior Wing staged a fun show to entertain the small kids. Children left late in the evening with fond memories of the wonderful Pyjama Party.

Independence Day & Janmashtami Celebrations
The twin occasions of Independence Day & Janmashtami were celebrated in both the Junior & the Senior Wings of the school with great zeal and enthusiasm. A short, colourful cultural program marked the occasions. The whole atmosphere reverberated with patriotic as well as religious emotions. The program in both the wings culminated into the breaking of the Dahi Handi by the support staff of the school much to the delight and amusement of the students.

The highlight of the celebrations was that the whole song and dance show was presented by the female support staff which attracted huge applause from the students. POOL OF WASTE INTO CREATIVE INNOVATION
Earth day was celebrated in both Junior and Senior wings of the school on 22 April 2017. Students of all Grade I to X participated with great enthusiasm and teamwork along with their Grade Incharge to create various kinds of models and structures from a 'Pool of Waste Materials' given to them. Kindergarten students enjoyed watching and listening to various Songs and Rhymes based on 'Mother Earth' and were thrilled getting Tattoos made by Balloons.
Baisakhi Celebrations
Baisakhi was celebrated in both Junior and Senior Wings of the school on 13 April 2017 with lot of excitement and energy. All the students of Grade IV and Grade IX participated in the celebrations with performances in Dance & Music and immense talent in Art & Craft. This being the first celebration of this Academic Year, the new as well as the old students looked extremely excited and in awe of the performances they were watching.
Wisdom wins laurels at Jashn-E-Azadi Competitions
Once again Wisdom rocked at Jashn-E-Azadi Competitions organised by Nehru Bal Sangh at India Islamic Cultural Centre, New Delhi. Our students participated in three events and won positions in all the three. Our Skit team won 2nd position and our Dance as well as Singing teams both won 3rd position. Wisdom congratulates all the participants and concerned teachers for bringing this glory to the school.

Utsav 2017
The Annual Day Celebrations of the Senior Wing – UTSAV – was celebrated on 6th and 7th December with huge enthusiasm and fanfare. It was a cultural and sporting extravaganza in which almost all the students participated. The whole campus of the Senior Wing wore a festive look. This fest was a series of competitive events for which students prepared very hard. The Opening Ceremony of UTSAV 2017 was a showcase of the whole fest. Mr. Daijiro Shirai, President & COO, Fukuda Denshi Co. Ltd., Japan was the Chief Guest. He came all the way from Japan to grace the occasion. Mr. Subhash Sudha, MLA presided over the ceremony. Mr. Hisano Naoki & Mr. Momose Yutaka, both Directors of Fukuda Denshi and Mr. Imamura Tomoyasu, Director, Meritech Co. Ltd., Japan also graced the occasion.
Wisdom Students Depart for Japan
Two students of our school – Pragya Kaushik (Grade XII) & Vasu Aggarwal (Grade X) departed for Japan on Tuesday morning to attend a 10 days International Science Project organized by Japan Science and Technology Agency at Shizuoka University in Japan. They were given a warm send-off in the school by Mr. Subhash Sudha, MLA and all the members of school management.
A total of 4 students have been selected from all over India out of which 2 students are from our school. They will be joined by 5 students from Indonesia. All the travelling, boarding & lodging expenses will be borne by the Japanese Government. Interestingly, the students will get an opportunity to travel by Shinkansen (popularly called Bullet Train) in Japan. Wisdom wishes the students all the very best for this once in a lifetime experience.
Extension Lecture by Dr. Tomio Mizokami
Dr. Tomio Mizokami, Professor Emeritus, Osaka University of Foreign Studies, Japan visited our school on 13th December 2017 to deliver an extension lecture on Indo-Japan Relationship in Historical Perspective. It was organized by the school as part of Indo-Japan Friendship Exchange Year Celebrations. Prof. Mizokami gave a very informative and illuminative presentation with a wide ranging references from Tagore to Subhash Bose and to the recent bonhomie between the Japanese Prime Minister ShinzÅ Abe and the Indian Prime Minister Narender Modi. Interestingly, Prof. Mizokami made the presentation in chaste Hindi and Punjabi.
2-Days Fully-Loaded Adventure Camp (1st & 2nd November 2017)
A 2-days fully-loaded full day Adventure Camp was organized by the school and conducted by a Delhi based company, Climb Up, in the Senior Wing for students of Grade VI to XII. It was an interesting mix of adventure activities, team games, magic show and fun & entertainment punctuated by breakfast, lunch & evening snacks.

Wisdom कला festival was organized in the Senior Wing on 24th December 2016 to mark the Christmas festival. A painting competition on Christmas related themes was held. Almost all the students of Grade V onwards participated. A panel of experts decided class-wise winners.
Pyjama Party
Pyjama Party for small kids is an annual feature of the school. This year the fun party for students of Kindergarten was spread into three evenings and Grade I & II on 1st, 2nd and 3rd December 2016. Children were very excited when they came to school in their colorful dresses and evening wear and saw the well - lit school. They enjoyed a number of rides, played games, watched shows in the auditorium and relished sumptuous snacks and dinner.

Social Outreach
To make our children sensitive towards social issues and make them aware of their responsibilities towards the society, the school has decided to take up social projects and involve students in the same. The first such project was taken up by the school in November 2016 by adopting the underpass at Pipli flyover. Our students of Grade XI undertook the task of cleaning the under pass. They were very enthusiastic and performed the task with great zeal. This was followed by the beautification and decoration of the underpass. In a short period of just 20 days the whole project was completed in time before the beginning of 'International Gita Jayanti' celebrations. The renovated underpass was inagurated by Sh. Ram Bilas Sharma, Education Minister, Haryana in the presence of Mr. Subhash Sudha, MLA, Thanesar on 2nd December 2016.
A Celebration of life... Hakuna Matata
HAKUNA MATATA... the Annual Function for students of Pre-Primary Classes and Grade I & II was celebrated in the Junior Wing on 10th March 2017. The festivities were inaugurated by Ms. Sumedha Kataria, Deputy Commissioner, Kurukshetra. It was a colourful, cultural extravaganza celebrated at ten different venues in the school which were simultaneously live. All the 692 students of these classes participated in one or the other event. The whole school wore a festive look and the parents were enjoying every bit of it. The Grand Finale in the afternoon was made memorable by a singing concert by Mr. John Kugel from Australia.

Janamashtami Celebrations (04/09/2015)
The festival of Janamashtami was celebrated in the school with lot of fun and frolic. The students presented a cultural program followed by the "Dahi-Handi" show presented by our support staff to entertain children. Children were delighted seeing their conductor and driver 'bhaiyas' in colourful dresses forming a pyramid and the 'Bal Govinda' climbing the pyramid and after a number of falls finally breaking the 'Handi' full of 'Dahi'. It was a thrilling and captivating performance.
A Musical Journey with T. M. Hoffman (22/08/2015)
The school organized a concert “A Musical Journey with T. M. Hoffman” on 22nd August for the music lovers among the parents of the school. It was a mesmerising experience. The audience was kept spell-bound and there was pin-drop silence in the auditorium. The maestro played Koto and Shakuhachi and also gave a scintillating vocal performance to various Hindustani Ragas. He was ably accompanied on the tabla by our music teacher, Mr. Chetan Sharma. The Superintendent of Police, Mr. Simardeep Singh, IPS was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
Earth Day Celebrations (22/04/2015)
Earth Day was celebrated today by our students with great enthusiasm. A dance drama depicting humans cutting trees but repenting later was presented by the students conveying a simple but strong message to the audience to preserve trees and save the Mother Earth.
Two days workshop sessions by Japanese teachers
A delegation of four teachers – Midori Barmi, Miho Kawabata, Miyuki Konno & Momoyo Nakazato – from Japanese School, New Delhi visited our school for two days on 27th & 28th May 2015 to conduct various workshops. Midori Barmi conducted workshops in vocal music and taught Japanese folk songs to our students. Miyuki Konno took up Japanese language teaching while Miho Kawabata and Momoyo Nakazato had very creative craft and origami sessions with our children. On 28th morning they joined our sports students and enjoyed a game of handball. They also went round the school and saw how our children were learning new things in various clubs.
Our cultural ambassadors visit Japan (9 October 18 October 2015)
The second batch comprising of 10 students accompanied by the Vice-Principal of our school Mrs. Sangeeta Bahl visited Japan for 10 days under Cultural Exchange Programme with Tabara School, Kamogawa. They stayed in Tokyo for 3 days. They were guided by our school Chairman, Mr. Harish Sachdeva and our guest teacher of Japanese language Mr. Tatsushi Funahashi. They visited a number of famous tourist destinations like Disneyland, Yunessun, VenusFort etc. Later they shifted to Kamogawa city situated on the coast of the Pacific Ocean. Here they were joined by our another guest teacher and member of our school’s Governing Body, Mr. Satoshi Hata. Mr. Hata had organised a host of joint activities of our students with students of Tabara School who joined them the next day. All the students enjoyed Campfire and dancing in the evening. The next day our children visited Tabara School. The Principal of the school, Mr. Haruhisa Usui, dressed in tradional Indian dress welcomed our delegation with remarkable warmth. Our students made a power-point presentation of Indian Culture before Japanese students and teachers. They explained how our country with an astounding diversity of various languages, food habits, traditions, festivals, traditional dresses and cultural trades is united as one nation. They also performed yoga and Indian folk dance and mesmerised the audience. Our students also visited Nagasa High School and Josai International University and interacted with students and teachers there. In a short span of just a few days an emotional bond was established between our students and the Japanese students. Principal Usui San himself supervised the whole exchange programme and later announced that teachers from his school will be visiting our school next year. Wisdom is deeply indebted to Mr. Funahashi, Mr. Hata and Mr. Usui for their immense contribution in making this exchange programme a huge success and hopes that such cultural exchanges will be taken up in future also.
Jashn-E-Azadi : A Celebration of Independence
Nehru Bal Sangh, an organization with a Pan-India presence, celebrates the Independence of India every year as a socio-cultural event to underline our identity as Indians. A number of cultural competitions themed around India’s independence struggle and patriotism are organised in Delhi. Two teams of our students participated in Group Dance (18 students) and Group Song (8 students) competitions held at Islamic Cultural Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi on 11/08/2015. Both our teams put up a spectacular and mesmerising performance. The Bhangra dance by our students cast such a spell that the entire audience in the auditorium cheered and danced to the captivating rhythms. Both the competitions were very keenly contested by all the teams. But Wisdom stood out in the end winning the FIRST POSITION in Group Dance and the SECOND POSITION in Group Song with prize money of Rs 20000/- and Rs. 15000/- respectively. It was Wisdom all the way…
Music Workshop by T. M. Hoffman (19th to 22nd August)
A 4-days music workshop by T.M. Hoffman was organised by the school for students of music club. T. M. Hoffman is an American settled in Japan. He is a master of Hindustani classical music. It was a great learning experience for our students who were exposed to wonderful music as well as Japanese musical instruments like Koto and Shakuhachi (Japanese flute). We are grateful to Mr. Hoffman for leaving his Koto with our school for our students to learn.
One-Day-One-Night Adventure Camp in School
The school organised a one-day-one-night adventure camp in collaboration with a Delhi-based camping company – Climb Up – for students of Grade V to X. It was a fully-loaded camp with lots of adventure activities and entertainment. The students came to school in the morning in colourful casual dresses. All the students participated in all the adventure activities. Later in the evening they enjoyed magic show and puppet show by Rajasthani artistes. Afterwards, they played entertaining games and danced around bonfire. They slept in the school and left for home in the morning with fond memories of the great time they had in this camp.

Season II of Clubs Wisdom with a new look was inaugurated today by the internationally acclaimed singer and one of the honourable Governors of our school, Dolly Guleria. A short musical programme marked the glittering opening ceremony. Another honourable Governor of our school and internationally renowned flutist, Ustad Mujtaba Hussain mesmerised the audience with a delightful flute recital. The In-house faculty of music and dance departments, Mr. Amit Joshi, Mr. Chetan Sharma and Ms. Charu Chutani also gave scintillating performances to regale the audience.
5th Foundation Day Celebration (8/2/2015)
The 5th Foundation Day of the school was celebrated with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm. The whole school wore a festive look. All the members of Wisdom family performed ‘Havan’ in the morning. It was followed by singing of songs and hymns. Later all the members of the staff(teaching as well as non-teaching) and the management danced to the beating of drums.

The 66th Republic Day of India was celebrated in the school with remarkable enthusiasm. The whole school wore a festive look with tri-colour balloons and buntings. After the flag-hoisting a number of traditional games were organised. Students took part and competed in Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Phitto, Gulli-Cricket and Tug-of-War. It was a delightful & colourful sporting extravaganza and all the students and teachers enjoyed the occasion.

The festival of Diwali was celebrated with great enthusiasm in the school today. Since it was also observed as Ethnic Day, all the children came to school in colourful, traditional Indian dresses. The students of Grade II presented a colourful cultural show and enthralled the audience comprising of Kindergarten, Grade I & II students. The Film Appreciation Club also celebrated Gandhi Jayanti and screened the famous Richard Attenborough movie, "Gandhi."

SPECTRUM : (30/11/2014)
The Annual Day of the school was celebrated with a lot of fanfare on 30 November 2014. The theme of the event was “SPECTRUM : कल – आज” and the whole stage was represented as if it was a TV screen. A total of about 600 students presented a colourful extravaganza and enthralled a huge gathering of approximately 3000 persons. It was primarily a light and sound show held in an open-to-sky pandal in the evening. A number of sporting and cultural presentations by the students mesmerised the audience. A number of advertisements shot in the school with school children playing actors were also screened in between various items as TV commercials are screened in the ‘breaks’. Cultural Exchange with Japanese School, New Delhi (29/08/2014)
A delegation from Japanese School, New Delhi, comprising of the Principal, Mr Yoshiharu Makishima, the Vice-Principal, Mr Masaki Chiba and 20 members of the staff visited our school today to explore the possibility of establishing a cultural exchange programme between the two schools. The students of our school presented a colourful and scintillating cultural show and enthralled the audience so much so that by the end of the show all the guests, including the Principal and the Vice-Principal started dancing on the stage along with the students to the beating of drums. Later, they visited the whole school, inspected the infrastructure and facilities being provided in the school. They also went to all the classrooms to study the teaching methodology and interacted with teachers and students. Afterwards, they had a discussion session with the Secretary, Mr Vinod Rawal; the Principal, Mrs Anita Rawal; the Vice-Principal, Mrs Sangeeta Bahl and the Head, Cultural Affairs, Mr Munish Sharma. They discussed the modalities of the cultural exchange and finally both the schools agreed to proceed further with the exchange programme.
Wisdom delegation attends Japanese BON DANCE Festival (20/09/2014) (19/03/2015)
A delegation from our school visited Japanese School, New Delhi to attend the famous Japanese BON DANCE Festival on 20/09/2014. Just as we in India observe 'Shraddhas' these days for our ancestors, the Japanese celebrate this famous Buddhist festival. They believe that the departed souls of their families visit their homes on this occasion. They welcome this 'homecoming' of the departed souls with music, dance, fireworks and many more festivities. The function was attended by more than 2000 Japanese nationals. Mr Takeshi Yagi, Ambassador of Japan in India, was the Chief Guest on the occasion. It was a memorable and delightful evening.
Celebration of Japanese Girls Day (03/03/2015)
The students and the staff of our school were exposed to another trait of Japanese culture when Japanese “Girl’s Day” was celebrated in the school under the able guidance of our guest faculty from Japan, Mr. Satoshi Hata who was here with us for 20 days from 17/02/2015 to 07/03/2015 to conduct workshops on Japanese language and culture. A short cultural programme was organised on the occasion. Mr. Hata mesmerised the audience with flute recital. He also taught the students and our dance teachers steps of a Japanese folk dance. It was an enthralling experience.
Visit to Japanese School, New Delhi (17/02/2015)
A delegation of 26 teachers alongwith the Principal and the Vice-Principal visited Japanese School, New Delhi under Academic-cum-Cultural Exchange Programme. The teachers visited the classrooms and various laboratories, workshops and other facilities in the school and observed how teaching and training is being imparted there. It was a very fruitful and rewarding day for our teachers who were exposed to a number of new ideas which can be implemented in our school.
Trip to Dharamsala, McLeodganj & Bir-Billing (2nd to 6th November)
A 4-nights 5-days trip to Dharamsala, McLeodganj & Bir-Billing was organised by the school. 31 students alongwith 4 teachers participated in this excursion. On the way to Dharamsala, they visited the famous museum in Anandpur Sahib and paid obeisance in the holy Gurudwara. They visited Karmappa, Indrunag, Bhagsunag & Dalai Lama Temples and Tibetan Monastery in McLeodganj ; Norbulinga Handicraft Institute and International Cricket Stadium in Dharamsala ; Kangra Fort in Kangra and the famous Paragliding venue at the picturesque Bir-Billing. On the way to Bir-Billing, they had the wonderful experience of plucking leaves in the tea gardens of Palampur. They also visited the heritage Taragarh Palace in Palampur. At Bir-Billing they had the wonderful experience when at lunch they were served the traditional Himachali dishes. Sitting on mats on the ground they enjoyed the delicious community lunch called ‘Dham’. It was a memorable outing and useful exposure for children.
Educational Trip to Pushpa Gujral Science City, Kapurthala (2/11/2014)
A one-day educational trip to Pushpa Gujral Science City, Kapurthala was organised by the school for students of Grade VI to IX on 2nd November. A total of 95 students accompanied by 5 teachers went to experience the marvels of science. They were shown a number of fascinating shows like Science Explorium, Laser Show, 3D Show, Dome Theatre & the recently launched Climate Changer Show.
Visit to Yakult Production Plant at Rai, Haryana (03/02/2015)
An educational visit to the production plant of probiotic milk drink, Yakult, was organised by the school for students of Grade VIII & IX. Yakult Danone India is a joint venture of the Japanese company, Yakult and the French company, Danone. This plant is situated in the Food Park at Rai in District Sonepat. The children were given a presentation about the history and the origin of this extremely useful health drink. They were told the benefits of this drink. Children were amazed to learn that a small 65ml milk drink is a source of 6.5 billion good bacteria which helps in maintaining healthy body and in preventing a number of diseases. They were also taken for a guided tour of the factory and explained the production process. It was a great learning experience.
Spoken English Workshop
A 20-days workshop on Spoken English was organised by the school from 24th May to 13th June 2014. It was conducted by Ms Adele Depenha from Mumbai. She is an experienced Cambridge certified English language trainer. A total of 120 students from Grade V to IX participated in the workshop. It proved to be a useful learning experience.
Japanese Language Workshop (17/02/2015 to 07/03/2015)
A 2-days Japanese Language Workshop was organized by the school on 5th & 6th August. It was conducted by our guest faculty member from Japan, Mr Atsushi Funahashi.
Stress Management & Meditation Workshop (23/08/2014)
A workshop on 'Stress Management & Meditation' was organized today by the school in collaboration with Rotary Club, Kurukshetra. It was attended by all the educators of the school. The workshop was conducted by B K Lakshmi Bahan from Delhi.
Japanese Language Workshop (17/02/2015 to 07/03/2015)
Yet another workshop for Japanese language and culture was organised by the school at the end of the academic session 2014-15. One of our external guest faculty from Japan, Mr. Satoshi Hata conducted the 20-days workshop for all the students learning Japanese language. It was a very fruitful learning experience and exposure for our students.
Jashn-E-Azadi : A Celebration of Independence
A number of competitions to celebrate India's independence were organized by Nehru Bal Sangh on 8th August 2014 at India Islamic Cultural Centre, New Delhi. Nehru Bal Sangh is a socio-cultural organization committed to promoting national integration, patriotism, secularism and National values among students belonging to different social, cultural and religious backgrounds. Headed by its President, Mr Ashok Sahota, it has been functioning all over India for about 50 years now. Our students--7 boys and 10 girls--participated in the Group Dance Competition and competed with a number of reputed schools of Delhi/NCR. They were rewarded with a cash prize of Rs.5,000/-
Boom Chicka Boom : Kindergarten Fest (29 to 31 October 2014)
A 3-days fest “Boom Chicka Boom” for kindergarten section was organised by the school from 29th October to 31st October. It was a fun-filled, enthralling festival in which a number of competitions like Clay Moulding, Colouring, Cutting & Pasting, Threading Beads, Poetry Recitation, Solo Dance, Sports & Games were organised. Almost all the children took part in one or the other competition. It was amazing to see the zeal and the enthusiasm of the little ones. The Grand Finale was held on 31st October. It was a glittering, spell-binding show in which another competition – Fashion Show – was organised for the children along with either of the parents. The parents must have worked very hard for this competition which was visible in their scintillating performance. In the end a group of teachers also enthralled the audience with a foot-tapping song and dance sequence.

SPECTRUM : Indo- Japan Cultural Fest (08/02/2014)
Annual Day 2013-14 for the students of Grade I onwards was devoted to Indo-Japan friendship. A number of presentations depicting both the cultures were organized at different venues in the school campus.
One-Day Picnic to Pratapgarh Farms & Resorts, Jhajjar (16/11/2013)
A trip to Pratapgarh Farms & Resorts was organized for students of Grade III to V. It is an Ethnic village and Eco-Tourism farm in rural settings. The children had a great fun the whole day.

SPECTRUM (Annual Day Celebrations)
The Annual Day - SPECTRUM - for the academic session 2012-13 was celebrated on 16/12/2012 in the school campus. It was attended by more than 3000 parents and guests. Dr. Ram Prakash, Member of Parliament , was the Chief Guest and the function was presided over by Mr. Rakesh Arya, Superintendent of Police, Kurukshetra. Mrs. Uma Sudha, Chairperson, Municipal Council, Kurukshetra was the Guest of Honour. All the 542 students of the school participated in one or the other cultural/sporting event and gave a scintillating performance.
Visit to Japan under Academic-cum-Cultural Exchange Programme (12 October to 21 October 2012)
A batch of six students - Ishaan, Abhiroop, Aujas, Vaibhav, Shubham and Harshil - along with the Vice-Principal, Mrs Sangeeta Bahl visited Japan for 10 days under Academic-cum-Cultural Exchange Programme with Tathva International School, Tokyo. The students attended classes in the host school and interacted with children. Mrs Bahl studied the teaching pedagogy and curriculum being pursued there. It was a rewarding exposure for all of them.
Visit to Chail(27 - 29 October 2012)
A 2-nights, 3-days trip to the scenic destination Chail in Himachal Pradesh was organised by the school in October 2012. The students enjoyed the adventure activities organised by the resort, Chail Villas.
Fantasia (10/12/2011)
Earth Day was celebrated with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm in both the Senior and the Junior Wings. Students of Grade VII put up a scintillating dramatic performance. All the students of the Senior Wing were engaged in making creative cloth bags from rags. In the Junior Wing a dance drama was performed by students to highlight the importance of trees. An Open House Quiz was also organised to create awareness about our environment.
Academic-cum-Cultural Exchange Programme established with a Japanese school
An Academic-cum-Cultural Exchange Programme was established between our school and Tathva International School, Tokyo on the occasion of our school's Annual Day held on 10/12/2011. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to this effect was signed by Mr Takada Yoshikazu and Mr Balaji Panchpakesan on behalf of Tathva International School and Mr Harish Sachdeva, Chairman, Wisdom World School.
