Wisdom Academy of Performing Arts
Taking yet another landmark initiative towards providing Zenjin education and in keeping with our constant endeavour to offer various skill development platforms to our students, we have launched Wisdom Academy of Performing Arts in collaboration with the renowned and highly reputed organization – PRACHEEN KALA KENDRA. The Academy is offering an optional, after-school training programme for the students as well as the parents of our school who are willing to learn classical dance, vocal/instrumental music, fine art (painting) etc. not just as a hobby but as serious, motivated learners genuinely interested in Indian classical art, culture and heritage.
About Pracheen Kala Kendra
Pracheen Kala Kendra (PKK) is a prestigious and highly reputed organization founded by Late Shri M.L. Koser and the famous Kathak Guru, Smt. Shobha Koser way back in the year 1956 in Chandigarh. During this long period of more than 66 years, the organisation has evolved into an illustrious hub of Indian culture and heritage so much so that it has an all-India presence today with its headquarters in Chandigarh as well as Mohali and its regional centres in Kolkatta, Delhi, Patna, Assam, Orissa etc. Just like an Open University, the Kendra offers courses and professional training in various classical dance forms, especially Kathak, as well as Hindustani Instrumental and Vocal Music and Visual Arts (Painting). PKK also conducts academic examinations and awards certificates, diplomas and degrees which are recognized by most of the Indian as well as foreign educational institutions.
