Information and Procedure

Academic Structure

Wisdom World School, Kurukshetra is a complete school providing comprehensive K – 12 education. The whole structure consists of five levels. To make teaching/learning effective and to felicitate proper monitoring of students, we have a very reasonable students’ strength per section as under :

  1. The admission process starts on 8th February every year when the Admission Information Brochure is made available at the school website.
  2. Parents are supposed to download the Admission Application Form from the ‘Downloads’ Section of the website, fill it up and submit the hard copy, alongwith a sum of Rs.800/- as Registration Fee, at the School Reception in Junior or Senior Wings.
  3. For the parents who wish to visit the school, the visit is arranged in groups on the day of Personal Interaction/ Written Test.
  4. The syllabus for the Written Test is also available in the ‘Downloads’ section of the school website.
  5. The list of selected candidates is displayed on the school notice board and the parents of selected candidates are supposed to deposit the school fees and other applicable charges within the given time period failing which the seat is given to the next candidate in waiting.
  6. The Admission Test Answer Sheet is not shared with the parents and the decision of the Admission Committee is full and final and cannot be challenged.
  7. Parents are expected to meet all financial obligations and submit all the required documents before the student starts attending the school.
  8. Parents are requested to make sure that the Bus Route/Bus Stoppage and Bus Timings are suitable for them before they deposit the fee.
  9. It may be noted that the admission to Grade 11 is purely provisional till the declaration of result of Grade 10 by CBSE or any other state board from which the student has appeared. Regular admissions are given only after the declaration of result.

A. Bloom Bunch, Junior Kinder & Senior Kinder

  1. The minimum required age of the child seeking admission to Pre-Primary classes as on 31st March 2023 is as under :
    • Bloom Bunch : 3+ Years
    • Junior Kinder : 4+ Years
    • Senior Kinder : 5+ Years
  2. Admission to all the Pre-Primary classes is given on the basis of a Personal Interaction with the child along with the parents. Preference is given to sibling cases and candidates from neighbourhood areas.

B. Grade 1 to 9

  1. Admission to all the classes from Grade 1 to Grade 9 is granted on the basis of a combination of factors, including merit in a Written Admission Test, previous academic record and the availability of seats. In case a student clears the Admission Test but the seat is not available, he/she will be put in a waiting list.

C. Grade 11 (Science, Commerce & Humanities Streams)

  1. Students who are already studying in the school and have appeared in CBSE Grade 10 examination from the school are eligible for admission to Grade 11 without any entrance examination. However, they have to secure a minimum of 60% as qualifying marks for admission to Grade 11.
  2. New students who have appeared in Grade 10 examination from any other school have to appear in an Entrance Examination for admission to Grade 11. The criteria for minimum qualifying marks in Grade 10 is applicable to these students also.
  1. It may be noted that the admission to Grade 11 is purely provisional till the declaration of Grade 10 result and the student’s securing the minimum qualifying marks given above.

D. Grade 10 & 12

As per CBSE norms, new admission in Grade 10 & 12 is not allowed in any school. However, the CBSE can grant special permission in case of transfer/ shifting of parents from some other city. In such a situation, the parents are supposed to submit some relevant documents as per CBSE guidelines available in the school office. It may be noted that the admission to these classes are confirmed only after the approval of the CBSE.
