The school follows integrated and interlinked curriculum framed on the guidelines provided by the Central Board of Secondary Education for the holistic development of child’s personality. It includes assessment in scholastic as well as co-scholastic aspects of child’s growth. Scholastic aspects include curricular areas or subject specific areas, whereas co-scholastic aspects include life skills, co-curricular activities, attitudes and values.

Emphasis is laid on Innovative Thinking and Experiential Learning – through experience of making and doing things. These are used to gently mentor students into an in-depth understanding of the concepts.

CO-SCHOLASTIC

Co-Scholastic areas offer opportunities for the development of imagination, sense of aesthetics, sensitivity and inventiveness all of which are requirements of balanced curriculum and lead to all round development of students and fulfill Wisdom’s goal of Zenjin – whole-person education. These are taught according to pre-set syllabus. These areas are not formally examined at the end of each term but are graded based on student’s participation and teachers observations. Assessment and Evaluation

The academic year is divided into two terms. The First Term is from April to September and the Second Term is from October to March.
Grade 1 & 2

  1. Each term will have one cycle of weekly tests consisting of 30 marks and the internal assessment of 20 marks.
  2. The internal assessment will include class activities, viva voce, class response, class work, homework notebooks and quizzes etc.
  3. Comprehensive Assessment of 30 Marks will be conducted in the month of March.

Weightage: 50% of A + 50% of B

Grade 3 to 5

  2. The internal assessment will include class activities, viva voce, class response, class work, homework notebooks and quizzes etc.
  3. Comprehensive Assessment of 50 Marks will be conducted in the month of March.
